A robin showed up today...

...and kicked at the back door, wanting in, but he or she settled on eating Hawthorne berries instead.  



Soph is wondering if the snow will interfere with her watching the Texas dog play chuck-it. Because, srsly? That's her job. Watching. Making sure no one gets out of line. Like a boss.

Does that include keeping Maggie in line?

I believe we've had a Robin here all winter. I hope that little birdie is okay. It threw me for a loop to see it.

I know, right? What are these guys doing out in the snow? The man across the field says the honeysuckle bushes in the fenceline give them food and shelter so they stay. But this is the first time I've seen them do that, though.
